ARRI Color Character

The "Secret Sauce" stage recreates the highlight roll-off and skin rendering that make ARRI footage sing.

Print-Stock Emulation

Genuine negative + print film development with printer points, density and bleach control for true photochemical color.

Hue Mixer

Six-way hue-versus-hue, sat and luma control to bend skies, foliage and skin exactly where you want them.

Grain & MTF Detail

Animated, resolution-aware film grain plus an MTF detail engine for that organic, textured film-scan feel.

The story behind Color Dance

Decades of chasing a feeling

This didn't come from a formula. It came from years of chasing a feeling.

For as long as I've been making images, I studied the colorists and cinematographers I admired most — watching countless interviews, breakdowns and podcasts, quietly reverse-engineering what separated a good image from a truly stellar one. And I kept landing on the same conclusion: it was never a single trick. It was a specific set of parameters and combinations, working together.

Those became the exact controls I always felt I was missing — the ones I gravitated back to every time I wanted that high-end, cinematic look. So I built them into one engine. Color Dance is everything I wished I'd had, in a single node.
